1. Definitions

• "Cortexa", "We", "Us", "Our" — Cortexa, an online AI development school, 944 Rama IV Road, Suriyawong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
• "Learner", "You", "User" — any individual who accesses our website, registers an account, or enrols in a course.
• "Service" — the website at cortexidas.pro and all course content, learning materials, and mentor sessions available through it.
• "Course" — any of the structured learning programmes offered by Cortexa, including Programming Foundations for AI, Building Machine Learning Models, and Project Mentorship Programme.
• "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting an enquiry form, or completing an enrolment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol in our courses and to enter into this Agreement. By proceeding, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have full legal capacity to do so.

If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Service Description

Cortexa provides online education in AI development through self-paced and mentor-guided programmes. Course content includes written lessons, practical tasks, mini-projects, discussion forums, and (in the Mentorship Programme) scheduled sessions with an assigned mentor.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available during normal operating hours (Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 ICT). Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may result in temporary unavailability.

Access to course content may vary by programme and is subject to the specific terms stated at the point of enrolment.

4. Learner Accounts

Where an account is required to access course materials, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You may not share your account with others or allow multiple individuals to access the same enrolment.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we have reasonable grounds to believe information is false or an account is being misused.

5. Learner Responsibilities

You agree to engage with course content honestly and in good faith. The following are not permitted:

• Sharing, reproducing, or distributing course materials outside your personal use.
• Submitting work that is not your own for assessed components.
• Using the platform to harass, intimidate, or disrespect instructors, mentors, or other learners.
• Attempting to access any part of our systems beyond your enrolment entitlement.

Breach of these responsibilities may result in removal from a course without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, lesson materials, videos, datasets, assessments, and design elements are the property of Cortexa or our content partners and are protected by copyright law.

Upon enrolment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the course materials for your own learning purposes only. This licence does not grant you any right to redistribute, resell, sub-licence, or commercially exploit the materials.

Any work you create as part of course exercises remains yours, unless it incorporates Cortexa materials, in which case your use of those portions is limited to the terms of this licence.

7. Payment & Refunds

Course Fees (Thai Baht):

All fees are stated in Thai Baht and include applicable taxes where required by law. Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed in writing.

Refund Policy:

• A full refund is available if you cancel within 7 days of enrolment and have not accessed more than 20% of course content.
• No refund is available after the 7-day window or once significant course content has been accessed.
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

8. Course-Specific Terms

Completion records are issued for personal reference and do not constitute academic degrees, professional qualifications, or industry-recognised certifications.

9. Disclaimers

Our courses are provided for educational purposes. While we work to keep content current and accurate, we do not warrant that all information is complete, error-free, or suited to every learner's individual circumstances.

We do not promise specific learning outcomes, employment results, or skill acquisition timelines. Progress depends on each learner's engagement, prior knowledge, and practice.

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not accept responsibility for technical interruptions outside our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Cortexa's total liability for any claim arising under this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course.

We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, data, or opportunity, even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses. Nothing in this clause limits our liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cortexa, its staff, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of our platform, or infringement of any third party's rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Refund eligibility is as described in Section 7.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, engage in conduct harmful to other learners or staff, or where required by law. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution survive any termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve it informally within 30 days.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: This Agreement supersedes all prior communications regarding your use of our Service.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email notice to enrolled learners. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
